Enjoy a ropeway ride to Gun Hill, the second highest peak of Mussoorie. It offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges and a bird's eye view of Mussoorie town and the Doon Valley. During pre-independence days a gun mounted on this top used to be fired heralding mid-day to enable people to adjust their watches and hence this name.
Childer's Lodge
The highest peak of Mussoorie offers a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. It can be accessed on foot or on horseback.
Kempty Falls

Surkhanda Devi Temple
Perched on a peak at 10,000 feet , Surkhanda Devi Temple was built on the site where the head of Shiva's consort (Shiva is the destroyer in the Hindu trinity) fell after it was chopped off to stop Shiva's terrifying dance of death that was shaking the universe to its very core. Located 35 kms down the Mussoorie - Tehri road, the temple demands a stiff two-km climb for devotees.

Jwalaji Temple (Benog Hill)
Situated on the top of the Benog Hill, at an altitude of 2104 mtrs. and 9 kms from Mussoorie, the Jwalaji Temple houses an idol of Goddess Durga. The temple is surrounded by thick forests and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks, Doon Valley and Yamuna valley.
Municipal Garden
A picnic spot with a beautiful garden and an artificial mini lake with boating facilities was laid by the famous geologist Dr. H. Fackner in the last century.
Camel's Back Road
The road owes its name to its shape that is curved like the back of a camel. This 3 kms long road offers a beautiful view of the sunset in the Himalayas.
